Our mission
At Iconic Smiles Dentistry, we're all about honest, individualized care that feels like you're visiting family. We believe dentistry shouldn't be one-size-fits-all, so we take the time to get to know you and tailor every treatment plan to your unique needs. Led by Dr. Simrat Sehmi, our practice was built on warmth, community, and doing what’s genuinely best for each patient.

Combining heart and handcrafted smiles - meet Dr. Simrat Sehmi
Dr. Simrat Sehmi didn’t grow up dreaming of becoming a dentist-but once she discovered the impact a smile could make, there was no turning back. Originally from India, she moved to the U.S. as a teenager and began a journey that would lead her to helping patients smile brighter every day. That journey included earning her BDS in India before completing her DDS at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she solidified her clinical expertise and nurturing approach to dental care.
With over a decade in practice, Dr. Sehmi knows dentistry isn’t just about teeth-it’s about trust. That’s why she built Iconic Smiles Dentistry to be a place where patients feel heard, supported, and never rushed. Her proudest achievement? Being recognized with the Presidential Award for Volunteering. Helping her community has always been part of who she is, and now that she has her own practice, she's excited to offer that same sense of service and connection to the families of Leander and beyond.
Patients appreciate Dr. Sehmi’s calming presence and the way she makes even the most nervous patient feel at ease. Her favorite part of the job is working with her hands-especially when it comes to crafting beautiful crowns-and seeing the confidence a restored smile can bring.
When she’s not at the office, you’ll likely find Dr. Sehmi exploring local restaurants (big fan of Terry Black’s BBQ), tackling escape rooms, or roaming the city with her husband and their dog, Zazzu.

At Iconic Smiles Dentistry, Dr. Sehmi brings a lifelong dedication to service—recognized by her Presidential Award for Volunteering. She has proudly served with Mission of Mercy and volunteered at a free dental clinic in Houston, providing care to underserved communities. While we’re just getting started, community outreach plays a big part in our vision. Dr. Sehmi plans to host free dentistry days in the future and looks forward to building meaningful partnerships with local organizations. Our goal? Support the community that supports us, one smile at a time.
